Get To Know Dr. Tina Siu
Dr. Tina Siu grew up in Alhambra, California, close to the current office location in San Marino. Her mother, Dr. Annie Siu, was an orthodontist, and her father was an anesthesiologist. Both of Dr. Siu's parents were very involved in the local community in Alhambra. She considered doing medicine when she first entered college at Occidental College in Eagle Rock, Los Angeles, but after careful consideration, she decided to purse dentistry instead. After exploring the different specialties in dentistry, she decided that Orthodontics was the right one for her because it allowed her to work with children and adults and create beautiful, confident smiles.
After completing her undergraduate degree at Occidental College, Dr. Siu attended dental school at the USC School of Dentistry, where she was later accepted into the USC graduate orthodontic department, earning her orthodontic certificate and a Master’s degree in Craniofacial Biology. Dr. Siu is also a diplomate of the American Board of Orthodontics, making her Board-Certified.
When she’s not in the office, Dr. Siu enjoys golfing, learning to cook new dishes, and playing with her Australian Labradoodle, Rufus.

Get To Know Dr. Daniel Chee
Dr. Daniel Chee was born and raised just a few blocks away from our orthodontic office, right here in San Marino. He knew he wanted to go into a healthcare profession of some kind, since so many of his family members are physicians, dentists, and nurses. Although he had not yet decided completely, he already had his eyes on orthodontics, since he witnessed first-hand the impact his mother’s work had upon his community–it was a common experience to be stopped at the store or on a walk by one of her happy patients.
Dr. Chee attended the University of Southern California, where he earned a Bachelors of Science in Human Biology with a focus on Applied Physiology, as well as a Business minor. His interest in dentistry grew, and he chose to stay at USC for another 4 years for dental school. While he was in dental school, Dr. Chee realized that the aspect of dentistry he loved the most was treatment planning, so he decided to follow in his mothers footsteps (and his grandmother's footsteps!) to become an orthodontist. Dr. Chee chose to stay at USC for an additional 3 years (11 years in total at USC!) to complete his orthodontic training, and he loved every second of it.
In his free time, Dr. Chee loves spending time with his wife Erin and his dog Bumi, playing beach volleyball, and playing League of Legends, where he gets to engage his strategic and problem-solving skills.

What to Expect
Your First Visit
When you first walk through our doors, you’ll be greeted by our comfortable environment and our friendly office staff. You’ll be invited to sit down and relax while we review the forms you filled out online prior to your arrival. Once your doctor is ready for you, we’ll invite you back into one of our operatories.
Your complimentary consultation will include an exam, digital imaging, and a custom treatment plan, which your orthodontist will sit down with you to discuss. In keeping with our commitment to transparent, conservative care, your orthodontist will explain their recommendations and take time to address any questions or concerns you might have.

Your time is valuable to us! In order to help make your visit more efficient, we ask that you bring the following items to your appointment:

Community Outreach
Our philosophy of care goes beyond the office walls. We believe that it’s our responsibility to care for our patients, both in and out of the operating chair, and one of the best ways to do this is through our community outreach programs.
We partner with Young and Healthy Pasadena to provide free oral health screenings to children in Kindergarten and Elementary school. Through Young and Healthy, we also provide comprehensive orthodontic treatment to children in need. We are proud supporters of the San Marino Schools Foundation, and Dr. Siu served as a trustee on the Schools Foundation for twelve years.
